Since the mid-1950s, High's Restaurant has hosted a group of old men and younger ladies at a dedicated spot each morning known as "The Liar's Table". Due to the lack of small-town excitement, some claim the best lies are told at High’s. This group uses their own access key, prepares their own coffee, and begins their local gossip often until the High's staff arrives.
